I figured as the suns coming out it'll be bringing out the best in the metallic/pearlescent colour, and Cs is great at appreciation threads :approve:
Ill get the ball rolling
Hopefully photobucket hasn't ruined the iPhone quality ;)
Wet rag and then metal polish, plastic dressing. Job done... There really isn't much to these engines, it'd take you half an hour max to get it spotless lol. Buy some long brushed for the bits your hand can't fit in
Swap boot lids so you can fit a GT spoiler? ;)
I love the anthracite on this! I'm really not a fan of the 200 mirrors but they don't look bad in anthracite... May get a diffuser in this colour :D
any UG people about? i've managed to import a datum co-ordinates system into a drawing as well as what looks like a body meauserment point. f**k knows how
oddly though its only showing in the assembly drawing, not in the individual part drawings.
but yeah, can anyone aid me in removing them?
if i could afford it i would lol! i cant see me getting rid of the 197 so i suppose i can always drop a megane lump in in the future when im bored/want a change :D
so how many boosted clios are in the NE now? and how many have been up there lol
your sunflower
steves t.trophy
andys old capsicum...
im not doubting the quality of yours and your mates conversions, i just think the difference between a company and a home conversion would make a big difference in the amount potential buyers will spend.
owen may aswell call himself a turbo specialist lol, him and andy seem to build them for...
Yep, if it was a 'home built' one then itd be overpriced. but you know with this one the work would be second to none, its got a shed load of expensive* extras from ktr and its incredibly low miles.
not having a go, just my opinion... now im going to read your mates build thread :D
In the PFC article they said youd 'get change from £10k' for the conversion... so say £6.5k for a decent 197 and about £9k for the work to do.
the one for sale works out cheaper and its ready to go... i couldnt be arsed to wait a few weeks (or however long it takes) for the engine swap and all...
Dont suppose you have a s**t, spare set to put on while you refurbish yours do you?
May be worth spending an afternoon/evening liquid metalling and sanding the curbing to get them nice and smooth :)
Isn't there a guide on here (with Saxo wheels) that was really good. I'd recommend looking that up
Got any pics so we can see how bad they are? If it was me I'd key the surface, fill the curb marks, sand them flush, primer to show up immperfections, fill/sand as needed then spray them
Your...
Nope :approve: i reset it as soon as i got onto the slip road and was in 6th the whole way down, apart from slowing down which i did through the gears... i have an hour long commute and play the how-high-mpg game lol
