Id actually go as far to say that it would be purley down to driver ability. Yes the 172 has more power, not much but yes, more power. It also has 124kg's more aswell ;)

Ive got a GTi and trust me, in terms of real driving there in the same league as a 172 no problem whatsoever. Anyone who differs has never driven one

Remember as the temperature drops the engine will operate better as oposed to warmer weather

Re: ***How much is my car worth?*** Find out exactly whats wrong with it mate. Buying a car with unknown problems is a mega gamble that not alot of people will invest in. Atleast with that information you shall be able to gauge what a potential buyer would need to fix it. Hope this helps

Thanks for the positive comments, shes an honest example. My best mate is sorley tempted, id have no problems selling to him or anyone on here :D Also she ran a very healthy 133bhp @ 6930rpm recently. Im in no doubt that figure is a reliable one ;)

Quite like that! Can someone tell me somthing, the Projector lens in the headlight... can you specify that you would like this rather than the conventional lamps (i.e so to add a HID kit for xenons) due to the lack of option? Ive always wondered as it seemed a bit of a hit or miss on the 197...
