Cambelt change is a bloody good idea whilst the engine is out.
It makes it about 50% easier with the access you will have..!

I came from a Phase 1 172 to a 106 GTi and whilst the 172 is quicker in a straight line there would be absolutley nothing in it on short tight bending roads.
Mine ran 133bhp at a recent rolling road :o
