Yellow's an acquired taste. I was unsure of it really, until I chatted to a bloke in the local pub yesterday who turned up in his yellow R26.
It was late evening, and with the fading light, I got to see all the shades of yellow on the curves of the Meggy.
Looked absolutely stunning. :approve...
Lol - good one breo.
Would have been a bit embarrassing if Corsa Man had had a fettled 2.0litre turbo lump under that black bonnet though! ;)
I still think a lot of the uneducated drivers on the road see the 182 as a mere Clio with a few bits & bobs stuck on it. They will soon learn...
You sound like you've covered off most options in that last paragraph. I really wouldn't know where else you could turn to in order to get a resolve on this issue.
It's an absolute ridiculous situation that Renault UK aren't keeping you up to speed with developments though. :(

Hehehe - hi!
Nothing like going for a 'little' drive to have something to eat. Really nice pub that. I wouldn't have had a clue as to where it was, but Martin was navigator in his black Vee.

Michael - I think once you have a go of a 172, you'll be hooked. Driving mine back tonight, I still 'get' what the RS Clios are about. They are the family runabout, evolved. They get you from A to B, but egg you on to take that next corner better, to leave that stretch in-gear a little longer...
Good point, but I think the answer is yes! :D
I think you should always aim to improve what you had previously in a car - especially if you're a petrolhead. I love the Evo's approach to things. Take a completely boring, feck ugly four door and 'factory-make' it to be a hooligan.
The 6 takes...
The 182 isn't going anywhere........ for now, at least!
I've been thinking of what best to do these past couple of months, and I can safely say that I'm happy sticking with the 182.
The 197 was never even a starter for me and while the Corsa VXR had some potential, it was a hefty hike in...
Possibly? It by no means a hard-and-fast rule, but a quick tootle about in your car and switching the engine off, wouldn't give it enough time to build up sufficient heat.
The heat, in theory, should evaporate any unburnt deposits left in the system when you switch off.
I could however, be...
Captive market, I guess?
I'm 'hoping' that the 18 miles each-way I do going to work will heat the exhaust enough to reduce the risk of corrosion. Then again, that's applying logic to a Reno part. Since when did that ever work? ;)

Tough call, Karen. I'd prefer to stick with an original Reno replacement, but as others have said, aftermarket ones are supposedly cheaper.
If anything, the 182 is really, really muted with it's exhaust note. The choice of having something a bit louder would be nice, I suppose?

LOL - they've changed that since I was there, then. You put your life in your own hands crossing Royal Parade at night.
Good times though - probably wouldn't recognise the place now. What was that pub called at the end of Royal Parade that stood on it's own? The Bank or something? That used to...
Ah? I have a large bottle of AG SRP - maybe I'll try that first then after the SFX-2 (or 1) phase?
Iirc, you don't rate the AG Ultra Deep Shine for afterwards, Rich? I do have a bottle of the AG EGP as well....
