I may just try that - see how they look?
Vinny - early days yet m8 - hopefully they will only improve from their great performance so far!
Ste - I must admit - the grooved discs would look superb on the 172's 15" up front. Maybe an idea for the future, eh?!

Well, after finally getting the rear bearings delivered, and the ABS rings kindly donated by Stevie and fitted to the new rear discs - yesterday had the 182 with some new anchors on.
The actual fitting was mainly down to StevieGreenstuff and me dad. I did a few impressions of looking...
....in the top centre of the rear window.
Went past us in a bizarre set of circumstances. We'd just come back from Rochdale and Jain spotted a bloke at the bus-stop with blood pouring from his head.
We pulled up around the corner and walked back, by which time another couple in a Focus had...
I just use the Silvatec ones from Halfords. £15 for a pair (which ain't cheap) but they look superb.
You need to get the offset pins ones, if you get them.

I bought a TomTom One for Jain's birthday at the end of May and the thing packed up within three weeks. Turned out that the mainboard needed 'replacing' and was repaired under warranty. I should have pushed for a complete replacement, but as it was so new, that's what I should have got in the...
It is amazing the amount of attention the Vee attracts - even in standard form. Tart one up a bit, slap a beefy mofo exhaust on there and passers-by just go all wobbly. ;)
I've never yet heard any bad comments with the windows down - always positive. Not that we can hear them for the most...
First off - the Clio looks sh1t. No excuses.
As for the comment above Gav, it sounds identical to a bloke I used to pass on the M66 every morning. Over the years, he'd have several cars - all with shopping trolley lists down the side, totally over the top add-ons, Lexarse lights and would...
Its definitely worth it, John. Even just as an occasional polish with the SFX polish pad and some AG SRP. The results of that alone are very noticable - if all you have done is wash and dried your car over the past few months.
Get an iPod plugged in your ears and the whole process is quite...
You're right there Craig. Washed mine this morning before work and left it in the new car park facing work - all on its little ownsome as people can't be arsed walking across the road!
Anyway's when the sun did come out, it looked amazing from my window. Still clearly gleaming from the PC...
Great pics Gaz! At first glance, I thought the fifth picture down had some stripage going-on on the boot. I've often thought a gun-metal grey stripe set would look good on black gold.
Look great lowered - such a shame Reno didn't lower the standard suspension setup a bit further.
Couldn't...
That's good news though, surely Gaz? At least the new owner is looking after it? I haven't seen mine since I sold it - would really like to know how it's been treated!
D.
Helllllllloooooo! I'm here! :clown:
Fecking awesome cars. Not sure it's a true classic, but its not damn far off. Loved mine until the very day I sold it and has many hooligan tendancies that the 182 is simply not able to replicate.
With a decent suspension change, small but useful power...
Looks superb! Nice and unmolested too - though I take it that that isn't an OEM exhaust on it?
The only mod I'd make would be to switch the side repeaters to clear - simply because I hate the look of the Tango-orange plastic. But that's just me.... ;)
D.
Nope - one of the director's popped in and asked if we wanted a curry at dinner. It would be rude not to - it is FBF (Fat Bast*rd Friday) after all.
D.
Yep - they all do it! Feels like a right bag of spanners from cold.
I have noticed however, that higher octane petrol like V-Power makes it idle much more smoothly. Probably adds about 0.2bhp as well.... ;)
It's also common for them to pull slightly to the left as well - even after a...
