my ph1 172's exhaust has a slight blow by the rear box,so me thinkin of replacing,now i know it sounds silly but iv not got a great amount of money,so shall i get a std one as the car is std,or shall i go aftermarket?
just had a quick go,only 1 lap in each so not very clean but a bench mark 4 the rest of ya
ph2 172 : 8 mins 34.685 secs
ph2 clio v6 : 8 mins 18.194 secs
both std with no driving aids
iv done it in a caterham,only mods are slicks,a supercharger and exhaust,about 250 bhp i got in round in 6 mins 55 secs :)
il go try with the clio now lol
lol i am so jelous mate but good luck running it as a daily,i live right next to a tvr garage and i know how problematic there are,and with that fact i think u should just give the tvr to me just to save lol
well here is my new motor guys,picked her up today,full renault history,6 months mot,just need to tax her,98k but a bit of a steal for jus over 2k

a mate has a zr160 and i have to say it is a nice car,i know its a rover underneath,but alot of people say underneath a clio is a girls car lol,we all know this isnt true but of course they are going to defend the mg,exactly as u guys have done hear,now the 160's are pretty quick,flat as a fart...
yup my old hybrid (martins) i sold that to martin on approx 167k
bearin in mind it was only the shell that had done that lol
sold my 520 beemer runaround with 192k and that never had an easy day in its life lol,and never used ay oil or water
iv been upto vw hq with work and there a mk2...
i remember when the integra type r (original) was out,that was claimed the best handling front wheel drive car ever
it depends on conditions too,i mean my old hybrid on dry roads is quicker than my golf,but in the damp,or on larger a roads the golf is alot better

saw a 2003 172 last nite in swindon by Pizza hut,had lexus lights and a roll cage in it,i pulled up next to u in my golf vr6 and gave a thumbs up,lovely lookin car mate!
reason y im suggestin hill power is my old clio with the basic breathin mods and a stripped interior got down to 14.1 @ 98 at the pod and ran 14.2 all day long,that engine was biult by nick and has had 35000 miles of flat out driving and never missed a beat,and its one of the only hybrids i know...
my hybridwas done there,his work is 2nd to none mate,
with one of his 2.0 ltr conversions with a hill power chip and induction kit,stainless 4 brach and decat and ashly exhaust ju (the prev owner )ran the car at 14.4@95 all day long at pod,then i stripped it and got down to 14.1 @ 98
