Ive had 330 and 230 BHP Clios, have done a fair lot more than the occasional trackday and standard calipers with DS2500 and Brembo HC have always been spot on. That's using standard lines too and just normal DOT 4.
Never boiled/faded etc...

Yea servicing is epic price! Mums got one and we had cambelt and brakes done within a few months of buying. That was £2k+ and coil packs had all been replaced, and lambdas.
It was a press car too and we have the magazines with it in. Looking to get rid for £2500.

If you dont expect snow and a lot of standing water around (and you can drive relatively well) R888s all day long! I will be slated for saying it but I ran them for two winters.
Perfectly fine and have a greater surface area than all other tyres!
