I agree with everything above. Feels very solid a quite a bit more bulky than a 182. You'd either have to be an expert driver or slightly deranged to throw a Vee around a roundabout in the same way as a 182.
Other factors include the wider ass and front wings and the fact that the front valance...
They we fine with me when I had the GTT - about the only bloody company who didn't have a heart attack when you mentioned the words 'induction kit'.
Total shambles with Jain and her MCS though. Guess its the luck of the draw...

coletti - out of interest, have you recently passed your test and/or this is your first car?
If so, a car like that would make a cracking one to start off with. Not only do you get the benefits of cheaper insurance and stuff from a 1.2, but you also get to learn how a car behaves when driven...
Couldn't agree more. Some of the BT engineers we've had have been true :star: - they've got us out of the brown stuff very quickly. Like you said Bubbles, its the background processes that grind everything to a halt. Made worse by the fact that each process is in itself a 10-stage process and...
Coming home from work tonight. Just got through the lights near Fairfield Hospital and the George & Dragon pub and spotted a muchos-lowered Willy on the other side of the road. When it set off, there was a distinct whistle-noise spooling up - making me immediately think that it was turbo'd...
The funny thing was though, the slightest difference in driving made it vary wildly. Looping into 5th gear easily put it in the 50+mpg bracket, a blat on the motorway slip-road dropped it to low 40s. The figure was so easy to change, dependant on how much your right-foot went down.
Previous to...
If only it stayed that way! :D
It tripped over the 17,000 mark on the motorway and for some reason, reset all the trip, mileage, mpg etc. Must be a standard Reno thing - either that, or mine got that fed up waiting to be reset - it did it itself.

Let me guess. It had 3ft of clearance between the rear wheel and the rest of the bodywork? Why the hell do people waste their money on crap like that?

Good pics!
I just can't shake the feeling though, that the 197 looks boring as hell compared to the out-going 182. I think it could be the wheels, or the fact that it looks so tall.

Still kiddies-stuff compared to the likes of GTR and GTL on the PC. :rasp:
GT4 is a great game, don't get me wrong. But comparing the two is like having a can of Top-Deck Lager & Lime flavour, then trying GTR and realising you've had a gallon of Tennent's Ultra Monsta Get-Pissed Quick Largoh.

Got a stupid price for me alone on Jain's V6 - stupid, as in good! Bell Direct came in at circa £600, which is part of the Admiral Group, iirc. Mind you, I am an old fart at 31 - I don't think I can remember back to when I was 18! ;)
Currently with Sainsbury's Bank Online. They were by far the...
So it's also available in the shops then? Not just an online download like the 'booster packs' for BF2? I hope so - Steam sucks biddy's c***s, imo....

PMSL - so true!!!
He was probably peed off with the Veyron doing him on the twisties. Once on flat tarmac - WHITE VAN MAN went out of his way to prove his superior motor. 1000bhp? Pah!
Bloody good spot mind - looks great!

LOL - and he called you ghey? Let me guess - his idea of the perfect Repmobile would be with 22" rims, blacked out windows and 500kg of ICE in the boot. Tell him to have a blat in a 172/182 and then ask him to find an equivalent car for the same money.
Probably the same kind of person who...
Does it need cleaning and if so, how often and what with?
Mine's been in there for about 15k now. Just wondered if it needed a trip to the laundrette?
Cheers,
