try the lumenition barrel TBs as i had a look and the injectors are downstream so no fule collection probs on part throttle! and a little bit of clever...

well, generally you run little advance at low rpm and lots at high (well, up to about 3500-4000 as it doesnt really make a diff after that) as the time margin for the burn get shorter, youhave to start the burn earlier.
Thus as advance gets high @ high rpm, you need the total r****d to be...
wrapping is not hard to doa nd effective, as are ceramic coatings, but most of teh coatings dont work and you really have to get the best.
you should overlap each wrap by about 1/2" if the wrap is 1" wide ideally...and its not too hard to do.
and A539s are only 98 quid a set, i think that beats anybodys claims of poor wet performance as they aint that bad!!!

i swear, the F7Rs we ran in formula Renault sounded so so so so sexy purely casue of teh induction noise......they made about 220 and werent too heavily worked....never failed on me either....well, only once.....cause i accidentally touched the cutoof switch in the cockpit...DOH!

look at teh palstic plenham and inlet manifolds....when i was repairing on...i was surprised that they made no attempt to get any power.....awful design.

i dont think the pistons themselves have more clearance (unless tehre are larger valve cutouts) as they come flush with the block face like the 16V, but the overal working of teh 2ltr allows more lift.....but then again, like i said, is teh timing exactly the same and what are the ramp angles like?
i thought you would run more r****d at high rpm as the natural ignition setting increase advance as rpm incease......to get the mixture fully burning before TDC.
so, your setting sounds about right............BUT, then some will probably argue that the charge is smaller at high rpm......

and done get 4WD...ergh, handling is poo on track....unless there is a high rear power bias....like 20/80.
oh, and you know you need a ported head and some cams in sucha light car....man, keep me updated!
