Seen the Tomtom in action - looked good. We use Navman at work for the delivery trucks - some decent people running the back-office processes for them...

You came down Oldham Road and I was at the lights, next to the baths. You looked at me and I let on. Didn't see a CS sticker - but your car was a damn-sight cleaner than mine! ;)
This was Saturday afternoon - approx 2pm...

Good stuff m8 - always worth hearing about people have the balls and commitment to setup their own business. Such a shame that I'm just north-east of Manchester, or else I would have happily given you my 182 for its 12k service.....

You could also go for the awful gold badging like they do on older Lexus's and Hondas, to complete the image!
I think it would 'date' the look of the car, tbh....

Changed mine at 6k. I'd heard that it's advisable to change your original oil early on, due to the micro fragments and shards of crap that work loose as the engine is settiling over the first couple of thousand miles. Could be an old-wives tale, but I can't see any harm changing the oil often...
Probably not worth it imo for something like a 182. Try it on a sack of Play-Doh like the Punto GT and the effect is amazing. Mine handled so much better after I fitted a front brace. Roundabouts were pleasant to drive around rather than a dodgy exercise in understeer...

What's the consensus on things like injector cleaning additives and stuff? Are they and engine placebo, doing feck all for you other than draining your wallet?

To backup what wozzaa said - 99% of the pre-loaded shite that manufacturers put on their PCs just makes the PC run slower. And you'll probably never use it. HP (the lower spec machines at least) don't seem that bogged down. The worst (by a HOOOOGE margin) is Sony with their Vaios. Not had much...
Saw quite a few over the course of yesterday and today. A great looking 172 Cup with black alloys too. Of the ones I saw, none appeared to have a CS sticker though.... :(

Thanks for the responses, Ben, & Ben (!) and I fully take on board what you're saying regarding target market etc. But taking my example from before, why would Porsche opt to make the 968 a 4-pot if a V6, flat-6 or V8 has more power potential? It's not like money is an object to Porsche - and in...
What's the relationship between the number of cylinders and CCs? Why do some manufacturers make a small V6 - like the 1.8 found in the MX3 and others make large 4-pots like the 3.0litre in the Porsche 968?
Would it be likely that Reno would have ever considered a 3.0litre, 4-cyl in the V6...
Got in the car this morning and used the wipers a bit (never a good place to park is it, under trees?). They worked fine as normal, then a few streaks ran down the screen, so I put the wipers on again to clear it.
Nothing - either on intermittent or full. I tried the washer jets and just got...
Sounds like a good solution m8. French diesels are pretty reliable as well and the fact that its only costing you £1.5k to begin with, seems like a bit of a bargain.
The best bit is looking forward to the 172 at the weekend - it will probably make you appreciate it even more! ;)

I think a few people have said something similar, m8. Thats friggin scary... :o And if youve been on the motorway like you say, the brakes should be nice and cool - not over-cooked and useless....

Clarkie - same here m8. They were mithering me on a daily basis, three months or so after Id sold my GT. How many times does it take before they understand "f**k OFF - ITS GONE!!!!!"? ;)
Bad news Bailey - sad to hear that..... Someone MUST buy it soon?

Interesting to see the differences in the blues in similar pictures. (Just had to nick your piccy above RB! - did you get that keyed scratch sorted out, btw??)
