It more looks like theyve not been blasted properly to remove the remnants of brake dust mate, are they raised up or divets? Doesnt make a difference anyway as the bit that looks good faces outwards 😎

You can bridge the connector on the resistor pack which will make it run. This then isolates the problem. Just dont leave it bridged too long

I'm amazed that fitting that boot full of grease was the cure. Mines not no lead in it yet! PMS spec: New minebea bearing, Sound deadening on shifter body Sheet Silicone gasket and silicone sealant Boot full of red rubber grease O-ring under lift up reverse collar.

So I have zero rattles from my shifter now, only a ever so slight whine at 90 but goes away at 92. Sooo much nicer!
