Couple people interested in buying it and finishing it. Going to do the side strips thursday in silver and try to find some clear repeaters on ebay! Then to tidy, polish and paint the engine bay!

Well after spending too much on the 172 conversion I lost a lot of heart for it so I decided to bite the bullet and buy a real one! A lot of people at the EA meet probably didn't realise it was me as hadn't had chance to take some photos and post them on here!

Difference on the 182 is that it has the twin exhuasts and also a lot better and less restrictive manifold. Changing this they would of had to change the calibrations on the ECU.

DECAT PIPE IS NOT A PROBLEM! Just want to know if the manifold will go up through bottom of car to fit on!

I don't think you get exactly what I mean!!! I had a Punto but wanted to keep insurance so just shifted it onto the clio while it was still being built. It's still in the garage, I just needed TPOAC so I could travel every now and again on a parent's car. Not someone using the Clio on...

The other car is my stepdads with his own insurance ;)

It's got insurance on it at the moment just so I can use the third party on any car so I can get around! Will be fully legit when ready!

I'm doing the 172/16v engine conversion and need to kow a few things. I can't insure it as a 2.0 16v yet due to it still being on the V5 as a 1.8 so everything will clash is that right? Also I've heard that they will now insure my car as a 172? Ths would mean HUGE price increase over the...

Anyone think of any other parts that could be bent causing this??? I've got new wishbones, balljoints and hubs coming. Track ends seem fine but will probably replace whole rack eventually anyway

Well after Andy tried to RR it, it didn't want to be. It kept jumping off the rollers due to something being bent :( Getting it back saturday to check it out and fix it! Watch this space!!!
