Well i spoke to a lad over at www.ek9.org and hes gonna take me out in his Ek9 at some point over the week end so i shall get back to you all with my opinion!
As for the Ek9 being quicker than a teg? I really dont know thats an open book as far as im concerned but im damn confident that it...
See rather than spending the money on re-mapping and making the 1600cc going faster are you not better spending the money on a Ph1 or Ph2 172?
I would!
Nice mate, question though not regarding the suspension...
you have done the 2.0 16v badges yellow at the side, how is this done? Taped up carefully and sprayed or what?
lol, yeah thats the image am goin for...
Kitchen Sink drivin a Teg lol
You cant beat a Honda for an all-rounder the only thing that bothers me is that you have to severley spank its wee arse to get the most from it, thus making very poor MPG. Had a civic before the 172 and for build quality...
Yes yes and yes, ur bang on. Better handling id maybe put down to whos behind the wheel but thats neither here nor there.
Its love or hate with the Ek9 but im a lover:rasp:
I thought about these, a bit more common that the Ek9, although for about 6k you probaly couldnt get a more resonable front wheel drive car!
More tourque aswell but ive just always wanted the ek9 since Gran Turismo!:o
The ek9s quicker to 60 but the teg would have it to 100!
Yeah agreed but its that old story with the reliability front. And yeah fuel consumption is pretty horrendous for a n/a 1600cc from what i gather combined its little over 27mpg :(
Ive only had the Ph1 for 4 months and still very much love it but i usually change my car once a year (bad habit)...
Ive always wanted a Civic Ek9 in white and am thinkin about prematurley getting one, what does everyone think?
Ahhh right get you. That is a pain in the arse, Xenons look the buisness but it seems they are a very expensive fix when it goes tits up.
Dual optics ftw :o
