Best way to remove vinyl? brothers gf has just bought a fiat 500 and the roof has a chequered pattern on it that's all faded, so wants it removing before I polish it for her.

    Terry's E92 330i

Coming from a cable throttled mk1 to a ph2 172 the responsiveness was one thing that really let the car down, from the few hundred miles I've done so far is say the bmw is pretty similar to the ph2.

    Terry's E92 330i

Have only driven it 'hard' in a few shorts blasts. At motorway speeds and above it is night and day to the 172, it just pulls effortlessly. Lower down it's hard to tell as I haven't got the gears as a reference point, off the line they're probably not world's apart.

    Terry's E92 330i

Finally joined cliosport properly by buying a Bmw. After owning the 172 for just over a year and using it to drive 2700 miles around Europe (http://www.cliosport.net/threads/european-roadtrip-2015.780747/), I decided it was time for something new. Partly because the problems on the trip made me...

    European Roadtrip 2015

Just going through my online banking now to total up the holiday. £384.15 on petrol, not too bad considering it wasn't running very well on 2 of them days.

    European Roadtrip 2015

I was the same but the driving wasn't bad at all. most of our longest journeys were around 6 hours and when you stop every few hours for a piss or food it's not real tiring.

    European Roadtrip 2015

Nope lol it drove fine all the way back and I've only been back and a week but it's been fine so far. Before the trip I would have to double prime it in the mornings or after long periods of sitting, so I think the fuel pump relay might be acting up and possibly got worse with the heat/prolonged...

    European Roadtrip 2015

Day 6 It was going so well...again! We left Munich and headed down towards Italy via the alps. The plan was to drive up the Umbrail pass to the top of the Stelvio, hang about there for a bit and head down into italy for our stay at lake como. The day started off well, making decent time down...

    European Roadtrip 2015

After reading a few threads on here from people who had done drives around Europe I decided that this summer I would give it a go in the clio with my younger brother. Booked 2 weeks off in august and started planning at the start of the year, we would mostly camp to keep costs down and stay on...

    Fuel pump relay

Searched on here and cant seem to find a definitive answer or picture as to which one it is. Car is a ph2 172 with aircon, does anyone know for sure which of the below is the pump relay? Thanks IMAG0687 by terry clarke, on Flickr

    Air con not clicking on

Help... Aircon was working fine Friday, I'm now in central Europe roasting to death. When I turn the air-con on it doesn't do the usual clonk and the fan isn't coming on etc. Is there a fuse that could of blown? What could be the issue?

    Lets take the Jaaaaaaaag

Not as quick as I thought they'd be either! Still sound immense though. Haven't seen many V8s on the road.
  26. terryc101

    another starting issue

I have a similar problem where most times I have to 'double prime' it so to speak and I was under the impression it was relay related.
