When i test drove the 1.2 turbo i found it felt a fair bit quicker than my 1.2 16v when driving around town due to the extra torque low down but when gunning it didnt feel much quicker especially in 1st and 2nd it did pull better in 3rd but not worth the upgrade imo.

Aslong as your not gunning it everywhere a decat should improve fuel economy as its removing a restriction in the exhaust so gasses etc flow better so the engine car run more efficiently hence more power and quicker revving with a decat.

Incorrect, this was the case when you had to have a dog licence. Havn't had to have one of them since 1987.

They're the engine mods i'd look to do if i had a 1*2. If i had the 182 then the manifold wouldnt be a mod but...

Depends how extreme you go, markcup has stripped his bare, if it gets any leighter he will have to teather it down in high winds.

Like it mate, i'd have it fully colour coded though i.e. front and rear bumpers. good that you got insurance at that price aswell. I'm with directline and they won't let me mod my car :( starting to get me down now.

I know what you mean mate, I have learnt to love my car ever since i took it on some awsome roads back in july. I had fun with my soft, high suspension, 75hp and feedbackless steering. On the other hand it did also make me think god i wish i had an RS but theres time for that.

I wouldn't do those mods to my car but atleast you have done something different. Not seen an exhaust like that on a 1*2 before and i've been a member on here for a year. Its very different and stand out to say the least.

Both awsome cars mate, love the 182 but the ph1 still looks good imo even though its a 10 year old design.

You still planning on getting a teg next year then chris despite the extra mods? Your car just keeps getting better and better. All of your mods are tasteful, when i get a sport i will definately go down a similar road.
