I've had the decat fitted this morning, sounds dead quiet when its idle, but FOOK me when you put your foot down, it makes your ears bleed!!
Also, petrol is now an issue lol.
I am absolutely loving the occassional pop

Outcome = very impressed

i'm thinking of fitting a de cat further down the line. my saxo was decatted and it sounded amazing. banged and popped quite a lot. what make/style is the rest of your exhaust system.

gotta love the random pop, and throttle seems to have way more effect on exhaust note than before doesnt it, decat for the win, although i would prefer a flan if i was being honest, but thats just in my honest opinion

my punto 1.6 was decat it drank so much petrol but sounded lovely and the pops were the best wouldnt do it to my diesel tbh tho lol

Aslong as your not gunning it everywhere a decat should improve fuel economy as its removing a restriction in the exhaust so gasses etc flow better so the engine car run more efficiently hence more power and quicker revving with a decat.

i loved my de-cat on my mini, popped and banged like a rally car and managed a impressive <10mpg loves it!

Decats usually dont make much difference in fuel consumption but usually they tend to use a lil bit more fuel (probably cause your booting it more lol)

i meant if you was givin it some beans when the de-cat was on it would use a lot more fuel than if you was drivin the same with a cat.

The pop s**t me up the first time as i was in a tunnel. just dropped down a gear and "POP!" then i realised it was my car
