There's a couple of awkward clips behind the heatproofing at the back of the bay, but you can get pretty good access to where it enters the car through the drivers arch.
I found that where the rubber sheath meets the plastic on the throttle body end, the sheath is able to move away, exposing the metal cable housing.
To stop any dirt/grit getting in there, I use insulating tape to keep them together.

Ever since owning my car, it's had quite a stiff throttle pedal, I assumed this was just due to it being cable and not electric like the ph2... this weekend my cable frayed, and with this the pedal got VERY notchy, so it had to be...

BTW what I forgot to say in that PM, is how amazing my car is with this new clutch, the biggest differences being how easy it is...
You've done well there, bumper etc looks really good.
As the northern one says, I'd get a different set of wheels on there, but obviously money is a constraint.
