I think BB use a T28 Turbo. Not sure what to do as neither K-Tec or BB use forged pistons. BB use a thicker head gasket and K-Tec use 2 gaskets and a flat spacer. Paul

I have just collected my old clio valver on a 1992 K, the body is tidy except the rear arches which i am going to weld some nice new metal in and it needs a front bumper as some c**k ripped it off :mad: . I have all the bits cosmetically for the car but my question is.... Do i turbo it...

Yes in the gearbox, easiest way will be to jack the n/s front up and take your wheel off. You can't miss it then. Paul

Passenger footwell? If it is i would guess the heater matrix. If not Dunno! Paul

Possibly just the connection an the reverse light sensor. Very easy to get to (near 5th speed cover, 1 wire). I think you can actually get to it with the wheels on. Paul

The cost to a CS member is £275 for the remap. It would be totally up to you if you chose to tell your insurance. All i can say is they would have to delve fairly deep into things to find the map but if they really wanted to they could find it. Your choice ;) Paul

The last 172 we rolling roaded with our map showed an extra 5BHP and 12lbft torque (back to back test on a v expendive Dyno!) which makes quite a large difference on the road. There is a thread related to the mapped 172 and the owner has posted up his experience of the remap. If you need any...

Not sure if the clio is the same as the megane but it is possible to tell the ecu it only has 1 sensor using the clip on the megane. Paul

Because if you leave in the exhaust system the ECU will think the cat is not doing it's job and in turn bring on the toxic fume light. I assume the Lambda is actually still plugged into the wire? Paul

So what's an average result from a 182 then? As John rightly stated most of the time the RR is purely to see the difference/gains. The same car may show 190 on one and 170 on another. The only more accurate method i know of is an engine dyno but for obvious reasons this is not the best...
