there are owners of C63 Mercedes on the MB Forum saying that rear tyres quite often only last 5k, ouch.

agreed, stupid camber FTL. Mine were wearing like that and I took it to the pros (WheelsInMotion) and paid 1k for full geometry, 2 camber bolts and a full set of Conti Sport 3s. I'm keeping an close eye on mine now and they are wearing really evenly now. Spot on in fact.

I've yet to see a piece of hardware that has come across my path which actually uses 'FireWire' a waste of time IMHO.

my concern would be would I miss 2 seperate screens with the 27"?

not really, my PC has 2 x 20" Widescreens and in work I have 2 x 19" monitors.

the other thing is when it comes to resale (or if it comes to resale) the Macs hold their money much better. I'm pretty confident in saying (without sitting down and working it all out) that my current PC much have cost me £2000+ collectively in parts, how much do you reckon I could sell it for...

Xbox FTW, I've got two Elites and a PS3, the PS3 hardly gets used.

I'm rebuilding an i5 laptop at the moment, seems ok, but nothing special over a regular Quad-Core. I can't decide between i5 and i7 for my 27" iMac.

32Bit is only going to see and make use of 3GB max. The difference between a C2D 2.45 and a C2D 2.8 isn't worth mentioning.

I haven't bought it either, I want it though but I don't think its worth buying (for me personally) until its < £30. I've seen it for £17.99 for PC, but can't decide whether to get that or get it on Xbox

hardly worth upgrading the CPU, RAM could be worth upgrading but it depends on which OS 32/64 Bit your running and what you use the machine for.
