Wick, don't go doing random colours etc, it's very over played now, if you must. Carbon wrap and away you go, maybe even some silver carbon wrap??
Save the rest of the cash for turinis. ;)
I bought one with mods, and saved a shed load.
When modifying, keep all standard parts, put it back to standard and sell mods separately, all the time.
If you can be bothered to search through my old threads, for one called "Giraffe clean" or something... my wheels are a light grey, they look quite good IMO.
That's awesome mate, thanks.
I really appreciate the effort that's gone into it, I've had two ph1's now, a non sport and a sport so I know exactly where the improvements can be made.
So very little I can see left to do, a ph2 boot would be great, as you can have the 197 Renault Sport badge...
Very nice, you've done the ph1 non sport just right, not a lot of money needed to make it look like that but it's effective.
But then I would be biased ;)
The car is wonderful now mate, fixed my bumper alignment issues Saturday and did a minor service (oil change etc) hasn't struggled to start either?
Running like a dream now, check the media section for the south east meet photos ;)
Get a pic up of the diamond, I couldn't really manage all the...
Really nice work on the bullets Mark, they look great.
Now get it cleaned, polish those headlights, get it lower and refurb those wheels.
Do it all and you won't regret it :)
I've got to say it, it's actually perfect, like really.
I don't even care about the engine (I'm sure it's brilliant) but the rest of the car is just amazing.
It's like all the other good bits any one has ever done to a ph1, put onto one car (and a yellow one at that).
Have you got ph2 carpet...
No, actually I really like yours. It's different, but the mods actually suit it (barr the tints, I've never been a fan of rear only tints).
I'd CC yours asap, the ride height is great, so I think it'd really suit the more smooth look.
Personally for me, buying a car without it done is better, at least you can get it done properly.
As Dave has said in a couple of other threads, buy a bit of a nail for very little money, spend a bit of money making it great and enjoy.
That way you know what's been done and when, winner.
Oh you bumbder, I'd have given you a heads up if I knew you were about, it's been a while!
All day??? It's ACTUALLY 6 bolts in total once the wheels are off!!!!
Keep in mind that the cambelt change etc is cheaper on the cup, I'm sure some of the specialists on here have had some brilliant prices for the cup lately...
Nice pair of non sports there there, I've still got a soft spot for the colour after having my ph1.
You could make one brilliant car out of them two though... bumper, clear windows and f1's off of one onto the other, perfect. lol!
2 Buckled? How likely is that??
I'd be getting another two random ones, then when you refurb those, paint them up. Sell the two buckled ones as spares mate, they'll be worth something to someone who wants a fifth in the boot.
Look at slammed172's recent media thread for the correct ride...
You were trying to attach them to the CS server mate, where each user has a limited amount of space.
Sign up to a photobucket account (it's free) and upload them there. You then just use the links provided by photobucket (it's the [img] code you want) and hey presto.
Oh and OP, opening post...
