    LY Finally had a clean

Looks bloody lovely if you ask me. Something in me doesn't want to own a yellow car though.

    EEEkkkk

I'd consider using normal struts and some home engineering to create a stopper of sorts.

    Dunn's Black Phase 1 172

The steering wheel cover was what I didn't understand? What's its purpose if you've just got a new wheel?

I thought the jubilee looked fine, like there was a lot of room, but obviously under the pressure of cornering this isn't the case... The noise is not even slightly there on normal driving, so the chance of being able to re-create it is less than 0 unfortunately. I've only managed to make it...

    Phase 1 rear bumper...

Ph2 bumper on a ph1 is a very easy job. Involves drill two tiny holes to put new bumper screws in, but that's it.

Yours sounds more like top mounts mate. The speed you have to go to get mine to do it, you wouldn't be doing full lock!

    Poorly Cup.... Drive Shaft Maybe????

You may have snapped the bolts though. Even though they look like they're still there, they could just be hanging loose. Mine were.

But is yours rather low? I think this is the only reason I'm getting a clicking or rubbing?

Test drove ph2 172 and I am very impressed. So what is the ph1 like?

Better. ;) But seriously.... The ph1's are generally a little faster and have received the nickname "Ph-quick". The Ph1 has a cable throttle, as opposed to the electric FBW found on the ph2, making them more of an enthusiasts car to drive, it's good if you like a pedal with more feel. The...

I did notice those tools Danny, but can I not just use some nail pliers which are the same, barr the middle bit to press it down? So if I just crimp it with the pliers then knock it flat? (I'm aware I'm a pikey, but you took all my £££)

    Poorly Cup.... Drive Shaft Maybe????

When this happened to me I assumed and was told drive shaft..... turns out I'd snapped the top engine mount bracket (the cambelt cover) and it was being held on by one bolt. Give that a quick check if you haven't already. Identical symptoms.

Pic request - 182 on Anthracite 15" F1's and Eibach Sportlines.

No Will, you're totally wrong. I really mean totally. Like no sugar coating. The ligher engine will have compressed the springs x amount, the heavier engine will then have compressed the springs y amount. The fact x amount ever existed made no odds what so ever. x

Ok then genius.... How does one put a jubilee clip on "correctly"? The end of the shaft has to rotate, so where it is make no difference. I've always used jubilee's before on other cars, but I'm guessing that because it's so low the pressure causes it to rub?? Oh and one more thing... If...

Can i disconnect my battery for the evening..

FLOL, awesome stuff. Complete total and utter filth. Who were you though? It's starting to bug me. As for disabling, the car, my personal choice would be to unplug the throttle pedal and tape the connector out of site. That way if anyone really does try to nick it, they just can't move it...

The proper clip is pants though... there seemed plenty of room for the jubilee when still, but I'm guessing that's different under pressure??? I've seen lots of cars jubilee clipped before? I'm sure you can't even buy the proper clip from Renault without buying a whole boot can you???

I can't say I "checked" like properly, but when bunging the grease in with my fingers I'm sure I'd have noticed it??? (it wasn't in a squeezey thing so I had to sling it in by hand). Definitely not a screw in the tyre, well I say definitely, but I'm only so sure because you can sort of feel...

I've got a knocking (more of a clicking with every wheel rotation) coming from turning hard right at speed (so the passenger wheel). I've had it since doing the following.... The other day I noticed my CV clip had gone missing and in turn, spilt CV grease everywhere... wonderful. I drove it...

How do you replace injectors on 1*2s

The fuel rail is bolted to the inlet, two bolts, then once that's removed you should just be able to pull all of the injectors out together easily.
