LeMans 2011 Team Tour... 'We ride fast, We ride light'... losers assemble.

I'm a bit confused, people are saying stuff about not needing a ticket for the race? What is and isn't worth doing...? Help a brother out.

    Few Ph1 172 Questions...

I've never seen anything about it Gray, so not a clue. TEG's a bit scared of gear oil after we destroyed his garage floor tarting about with my 1.2 before I got rid. I'm a lot more experienced now days ;) Oh and why expensive gear oil? The eurocarparts stuff not any good?

    Adams ph1 172 ?

Ah no worries mate, was going to see if you fancied the big karting meet. We have a space on our team.

    Few Ph1 172 Questions...

Danny was going to do the Lube, but it's such an easy job when you know how... I also saw the perfect funnel from Halfords, so no need for us to try ruining that pump again ;)

    Few Ph1 172 Questions...

Easy job?? Not one that I've done before

    Adams ph1 172 ?

Just trial and error it. It's just a case of how high it pulls the catch to open the door. To a degree you can get a rough idea by disconnecting the rod and then pulling it until it clicks to open the door, then you check the amount of travel in the handle, i.e where it is at the top of this...

    Few Ph1 172 Questions...

Cheers chaps... Why decent gear oil though? Genuine question. What's silly miles for the fuel filter? I'm at 75k

    Adams ph1 172 ?

It normally just needs adjusting on that thing mate, clip it out and in again in a different place. Really should have looked where it was clipped before an clipped it into the same place, but its obviously too late for that now. (lol) LOVE the windows switches btw, proper tidy job.

    Few Ph1 172 Questions...

Fuel Filter: I've heard these don't need doing/can't be done on the ph2, is it something I should do on the ph1??? As you can see, I have quite frankly no idea about it as it's not something I've ever had to do/deal with. Gear Oil: What's the gear oil capacity on these?? Necessary...

    Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet

One space on "Team Suv'nas" aswell, preferably someone light and half decent. (As I'm neither).

    The Lakes.

Best Ph2 on here by a country mile. Nice pics too, love it up there, shame it's so damn far from me.

    Ph1 on coilovers... Finally!

Looks good, the 16's aren't a bad thing on a non sport, a good choice for the car IMO.

    B33fy's Black PH1

    clio tax holder.

On the Richbrook style front, yes, I'd buy one. I imagine a fair few others would too. Look much tidier.

    Terrible bump steer!!

That's the place mate, do recommend them. Not the same as having a 200£ setup, but it should be pretty good. :)

    Terrible bump steer!!

The camber is adjustable on my coilies mate. They just did that. Did a great job and weren't that expensive. I'd definitely try that sharpish, if it doesnt make the world of difference it's not the most expensive thing to have tried.

    Terrible bump steer!!

Erm, it's some place on the A13 mate, it's past the m25, I was sure it was you who recommended it to me. I got full four wheel alignment and then -1 camber put into each side. Sorted. Literally drove like a different car.

    Terrible bump steer!!

Danny, need to talk to you regarding coming up tomorrow... (it's no problems btw, just a question or two). Also, I need to steal your wheels. NEEED

    Terrible bump steer!!

Get it down to Elite, the place you advised me to go I think? Mine was pretty bad with this, often made bumpy roundabouts interesting. It's blinding now.

    Why am I so uninsurable?

Also consider, and I'm not at all sure why, that fully comp quotes are some times cheaper!!!

    Another bloody wheel decision thread!

Wait. No matter what. I'd rip off a testie for some anthracite or black 15" O.Z's.

cutting holes for handles in carbon door cards?

Have you taken the door card off and had a look yet? Lot of adjustment available, trust me.

    Stripped, caged, buckets. FAO M.O.Ters??

Rob, I need to talk to you Re: MOT. Or Mike, do you know someone who is de-cat friendly?

    Ph1 172 track shed

Don't tidy it up mate, I love it as it is. I just mean me personally would be knocking the bonnet out, bit of paint, but I'm such a tart! LOL

    My little beast!

RS grille is a definite for me. Great little first car, as much as you could spend a fortune lowering it more to make it look better, I'd just enjoy for what it is. It might not be that scene, but it looks rather nice and will get a few blowies here and there.

    Ph1 172 track shed

You could always put a handle on that cable mate, like what you have on a battery cut off switch looking thing. I bloody love it, but I seriously wouldn't be able to hold back on tidying it up even more. So damn tempting.
