I've never seen anything about it Gray, so not a clue.
TEG's a bit scared of gear oil after we destroyed his garage floor tarting about with my 1.2 before I got rid.
I'm a lot more experienced now days ;)
Oh and why expensive gear oil? The eurocarparts stuff not any good?
Danny was going to do the Lube, but it's such an easy job when you know how... I also saw the perfect funnel from Halfords, so no need for us to try ruining that pump again ;)
Just trial and error it.
It's just a case of how high it pulls the catch to open the door.
To a degree you can get a rough idea by disconnecting the rod and then pulling it until it clicks to open the door, then you check the amount of travel in the handle, i.e where it is at the top of this...
It normally just needs adjusting on that thing mate, clip it out and in again in a different place.
Really should have looked where it was clipped before an clipped it into the same place, but its obviously too late for that now. (lol)
LOVE the windows switches btw, proper tidy job.
Fuel Filter:
I've heard these don't need doing/can't be done on the ph2, is it something I should do on the ph1???
As you can see, I have quite frankly no idea about it as it's not something I've ever had to do/deal with.
Gear Oil:
What's the gear oil capacity on these?? Necessary...
The camber is adjustable on my coilies mate. They just did that.
Did a great job and weren't that expensive.
I'd definitely try that sharpish, if it doesnt make the world of difference it's not the most expensive thing to have tried.
Erm, it's some place on the A13 mate, it's past the m25, I was sure it was you who recommended it to me.
I got full four wheel alignment and then -1 camber put into each side.
Sorted.
Literally drove like a different car.
Get it down to Elite, the place you advised me to go I think?
Mine was pretty bad with this, often made bumpy roundabouts interesting. It's blinding now.
RS grille is a definite for me.
Great little first car, as much as you could spend a fortune lowering it more to make it look better, I'd just enjoy for what it is.
It might not be that scene, but it looks rather nice and will get a few blowies here and there.
You could always put a handle on that cable mate, like what you have on a battery cut off switch looking thing.
I bloody love it, but I seriously wouldn't be able to hold back on tidying it up even more. So damn tempting.
