not always. I replaced the clutch kit with the helix organic and the crunch is gone. there was friction between fork/bearing/pressure plate. I'll post some pics
not the cable guys. just changed my clutch and the noise is gone. but it still present if I press slowly the pedal, but a lot less than before, the thing is, the fork is rubbing on the release bearing, and that's what I suspect is the main problem. I'm not saying that sometimes the cable is the...
one other question: after the accident I may have lost some brake fluid (I guess since the engine oil level is ok), this I guess means that if I press the brake pedal it will go to the floor right? quite a lot of yellowish fluid was under the car
unfortunately I had an accident 4 months ago, and the car is due to be finished in about 2 weeks. it hasn't been started since and wondered if there is something to know when starting an engine after such a period
to have a good idea about how this system sounds here's my 182 with the milltek fitted, the car being stock otherwise, no decat pipe. had no problems with the welds so far, only had it run for about a month, but as others said, there is a lifetime guarantee and their customer service is very...
I've heard some 3 people complaining about snapped pressure plates with the OE clutches, I have the helix organic one waiting to be installed, thinking maybe this is stronger than the original
you mean you want to take off the stud covers? you can do this by bending a 2-3 mm steel wire, some 7 mm off the end to a 90 degree angle and use it to pull out the cap, or just try to use a screwdriver, it might also work

you should pick up a tyre that has the closest overall diameter to the original, I'm guessing 195/55 r 15 will be ok. don't go more than 195 in width as your stock rims won't cope with that very well
front and rear also, I'm curious how the track got wider, are the front lower arms any different from the standard, what about the hubs?..
To sum it up I wanna see how exactly the small hatch became a rwd pocket rocket ;)
really curious how renault modified the suspension and subframe on the v6, would be interesting to see how they did it looking under the car. anybody seen such pics?
cheers!
if you wand better dry grip and lower price go for hankook ventus r-s2. they are a good alternative if you don't wanna spend. watch out in the wet, it seems like they grip less than the michelin.
so the best all round performer would be the michelin, but some guys like me prefer to go slower in...
need to replace one of the fog lights and went to renault and surprise:
they only sell them in pairs!!! couldn't believe this s*** and wondered if the std clio items are identical to the 1*2 range (phase2). I've seen a used campus and just wondered if ..
^^ yeah someone told me this could be my problem but right after greasing the thing the noise was still there. try some lithium based grease, I've heard it goes off harder than normal grease
hey there, I have the same problem for about 2 years, I will replace my clutch with the k-tec gr.N unit and will see what's inside there.
One thing is for sure: the cable is ok, the sound comes from inside the box, some guy said the teeth on the pressure plate have their tips worn out, thus...
As above, I need to buy a new wheel after an accident and need the part no for the anthracite cup wheel as the dealer couldn't tell me if the wheel they had in the database is the cup one or the normal silver
I told them to check if the colour code was specified and it wasn't. I really don't...
a friend of mine swapped the front pads with ds 2500 and when looked at the OE ones surprise: on the back wrote "ferodo brembo renault"
so they're made by ferodo, so I guess the 2500 aren't that much better. he also said there was no big difference
