okies the first one shows the belt you can see straight away when you open the bonnet that one is fine the belt that is snapped is the one just on the inside of the wheel/pulley thing. i got a close pic of where it was after. also the red square on the first pic shows where it was

would it help if i got a pic? what sort of cost is it to get the aux belt changed over and does it do much damage if it breaks

see i dont no lol i got two belts i can see when i look in the engine there is on straight infront of me that is quite small and then i got another one below it thats attached to the main block of the engine..... this is the one that has snapped .......... i aint doing no0 engine conversion...

well see this was my first car so i didnt no much about them or internal works of a car, and about 1 week ago i read about the cam belt needing changing every 5 years (im the 2nd owner so not sure if it was changed before) the car has done 68k miles so i thought right i get paid in two weeks get...

impact wrech i had the same problem changing my springs on the two bolts vy the front disc worked straight away

:cry: okies here goes fellas i just payed hard cash for all my new alloys and lowering springs and dvd player in my car... im driving down to lakeside (shopping with the misses) and im doing 70mph in the fast lane all of a sudden i hear a wining noise and my car losses all power i had to bolt...

yeah it is wha i thought you were talking about get a set of pliyers get a firm grip and pull that off the wires are a it tricky but there are two places these can go bother are down the sides of the unit if you put your hand in you will feel a drop to the bottom right and left slide the cables...

usually if its what im thinking of this thing just screws out if you can get your hand in there if not get a pair of pliyers and try twisting it otherwise you will have to take the dash off...... not 100% sure if this is what your talking about. let me know if it works

hey guys well in last 2 weeks i have lowered my car 60mm and slapped some 15's on what you reackon from this...... to this im hopeing the front will drop down a little more how long to springs usually take to settle?

really how comes they look differenct to the normal clios then are they lower standard??

i got a set of original 1.2 8v 1998 renault clio springs i want to get rid of £20 for front and rears ono....if not im throwing them out i couldnt post this in the for sale bit as i aint a member yet lol let me know if you interested got photos on the way they are in good condition

go lower 60mm

but aint the clios rear higer standard anyways so if yo lower it slightly more than the front it levels it up

i dont no really it depends on where you live dont it coz i got a quote 4 months before my 21st with my clio and its was like £1500 and i thought id just wait till my 21st (didnt have the money anyways) and one my first year driving it was £889 fully comp....i dont think it makes a difference if...

a back box is purely as it says the end of an exhaust(back box) and a full system is the back box middle section and cat. and just in case you ask a cat back system is starting from the end of the cat so you get the middle section and the back box any help

hey guys as some people would have seen i have a stupid exhaust on my car its far to loud and far to big......so i wanna get a smaller one ive been looking around but not sure where to go for one.....i would like twin 2" or 3" exits but i would like it really raspy got any ideas??? i got a 1.2...

how do you reackon they will fit then matey boy above said they wouldnt

erm where abouts in london do you live ......why not drop it down with just 15mm front and 20mm rear lowering springs not sure how notciable it is.... although you could always get coilovers that way on normal week to week driving you can have it normal but with better steering capabilities and...

okies so can you just explain exacty what this means (8-J/L ET35) and what pcd 100 means i know what the 4 bolt means thankfully

the bloke that did it lives near me i think i used to drive by it all the time but it seems to be a misubshi colt on there now.......maybe he is putting a 1.2 8v clio engine in it lol
