    Wheel Bearings

We use a "mouse" too, but seeing as there's isn't a likeness between it and anything on a type writer, I don't imagine you know what that does.

Haynes Sprint Track Day - The Media Thread!

Sad to see a few scrapes but it looks like a good day. Have it looking ship shape again soon eh John? Saxo bits are cheap anyway, and after all, it's why you buy a cheap track car, right?

    My 182

For once I wasn't looking for those. Your point is fair. Wing does look a bit more off than usual, but tbh, with them being plastic, it takes so little for the car to require a replacement, they can crack so easily.

    My 182

Car looks bloody beautiful. Love these titanium ph2's (gives me more chance of finding parts if I need them ;)) Wings are always slightly off Steve, to do with the fact they're plastic, some colours/random car's show it worse than others. P.s my car needs some winter protection and you owe me...

    Wheel Bearings

£100.00 will get you new rear discs with the bearing already pressed in, new pads and a new ABS ring (which you don't need so I assume you can just remove it). Link: http://www.northwestperformance.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=6_7_86_1&products_id=116&osCsid=77snpmddjnjjgu563neefugc94

    Wheel Bearings

From what I've heard.... Doing a bearing is often more effort than it's worth, unless you're doing it yourself and have the correct tools/equipment. I woulnd't change one disc at a time either really, for the price of the "kit" I'd just refresh the rear brakes for £100 you can't go wrong...

    Expensive oils!

I didn't go for massively expensive, largely because after talking to Jord at FCS, he's never run expensive oil in his mk1, that takes an absolute battering, so I'm just running fully synth 5w40 and will change it every 6k

Abit worried now about the Gearbox!

Ho sheet. It's really easy to empty out, but will be messy. Just open the correct butterfly, and let it flow out. when it pretty much completely stopped, screw it back on.

    A good service??

Who did the welding mate? Maybe I'll just pay for someone to fit them... lol! Make sure you change the pollen filter, it makes such a difference to how sitting in the car "feels" if it hasn't been done in ages.

Awesome, I'd love a crack in one, see what all the fuss is about. But sod rocking about in a 50k one, I can think of more than 50,000 thing's I'd rather have for that money!!!

    A good service??

Engine mounts are done? I'd add GB oil to your list, can never hurt, and is often missed out. Pollen filter, get things smelling a bit nicer inside.
