Yup, its down to lack of stretching after exercise, but its got to the point now where I need some form of sports therapy of something to help sort it out. Calfs are tight as fook, which im guessing is something that has caused/worsened the problem. Robin Hood will kill me tbh. 10km was enough...
I cant wait for Survival of the Fittest (wierdo). I did it last year with a bunch of women from work, so was ridiculously slow, but was an awesome event. So much fun.
Tbh, I shouldn't really be doing this sort of thing atm. My achilles currently feels like it could snap at any moment ;) . Im...
We did it in 51mins, which isnt great, but was our first time doing a proper race (there was me and two mates that ran. one of which is trying to get fitter and had to stop a couple of times :S).
Very hilly course, which killed. It was down on Locko Park in Derby.
Hopefully though, by the time...
A brand new 11 plate Red 200, with black roof, Speedlines and Recaros, in Tesco Alfreton's car park. Looked great, although the lack of Cup Spoiler disappoints me :rasp:
You probably spotted mine as well, as I parked it near enough right behind you.
I may have... You're never online when I come on though. :(
Im getting into Black Ops atm, so trying to make the most of it, before I decide its s**t again. Will try to make some time for the real SWET clan though ;) What time you gonna be on Dredz?
I get them all the time in the 200.
I parked my car in a pub carpark a couple weeks back, as I was taking the girlfriend to the hairdressers. When we came back to the car, there were two middle aged, skanky blokes sat at a table with their afternoon pint.
"I say yooof, how much iz that...
Ill be on at some point. Just gonna have a nap and eat, to try and recover from the 10k race I did this morning. Then its time to get a f**king SWET on.
Thanks. Castles and naturey stuff are good. The girlfriend is a 'country girl', so loves stuff like castles, forests, walks etc. (all of which would be dog friendly aswell :))
Ill ask the girlfriend later where exactly we are staying. It cant be that far from Snowdonia though, as im sure we were talking about visiting that place.
A bit random, but me and the missus (and her dog :S*) are going to Wales in just over a week. I think we will be near to Snowdonia (is that what its called?!), but also near to the coast. Ill have to get the actual name of the place.
I was wondering whether you guys know of any places that...
^ That Punto is 'mazin. I used to have one, as my first car, and went through a bit of a sticker phase. Not as bad as that, I might add, but still that bad I wouldn't even consider putting it on here ;)
^ Ill add (after reading Darren's post). Handling is ridiculously good in the 200. You can literally take corners at stupid speeds. The 172 couldn't handle corners anywhere near as well as what the 200 does.
The 200 doesnt seem as fun to drive on a day to day basis, but take it out for a spin on...
f**k me!!! For a Cup??? Sure they're not having you on or you've got mixed up with a normal 200? I know prices have gone up slightly, but that will be £4k more than what ill be paying for mine (if I buy after my 2 year deal).
Ill sell you mine for £15k ;)
Also agree with this. Because the 172 felt like it was going to fall apart doing anything about 70, it was more fun to drive, whereas the 200 is well built.
In comparison to my old 172, the 200 is in another world. It doesnt feel as quick, but im guessing thats because its a bigger car and it hasnt got an extremely loud exhaust on like with what my 172 did. Without writing a massive essay, id say they are much better cars than the 1*2's.
