Re: SE Christmas meal...
I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas/roast dinners anwyay, so I couldn't care less, just coming for the banter tbh.
EDIT: Just noticed, so far not one "normal" user has posted in here, lol! Coloured name crew!
Re: SE Christmas meal...
I think she just means she's broke?
Dip into the fella's endless pot Sash, it'll be cool. ;)
I'm in for this, depending upon date etc.
I haven't got much to say tbh.... you wanted comments on your driving, from what I can hear/see, it seems as though you pander round the corner and only push out of it at the last minute, shift down earlier, get on the revs, and let the power pull you around the corner.
Very nice indeed Stu. Get cracking on it now! It's a good standard example, so nothing too heavy ;)
Lower it first IMO, remove that exhaust and get some ph2 side strips on it, a massive improvement!!
Yep, there is no fuse, that guide is wrong.
Basically, it means not being able to have the two of the lamps on the same time or something. To be completely honest, it's not a big deal in the slightest.
There is however a fix, which include fitting a relay of kinds, but good fecking luck...
It's metal, but powder coated, so it's scratched. Makes me sad tbh.
That was my worry, but I suppose it depends how well it's wrapped. I'll give it a go tonight maybe.
I want to sort out a meet before the weather turns proper nasty, we've still got some sun so maybe be able to get some nice pics, and obviously, none of us will be freezing our tits off.
My question to you all, where do you want to see these meets? This part of the world doesn't exactly seem...
Coil
Overs
No, really. If you were around here I'd let you drive mine, then I think you'd know what you had to do.
But what I'd do apart from that....
Matched inlets and a remap to go with your exhaust, from what I've seen these do make quite a noticeable difference to power...
You haven't driven one but you're that serious about buying one? Mental!
Daniel, you still have that Williams? WTF?
Oh, and I agree on the mk1 love, although it seems to have made a come back with the f4r'ers and the guy who restored the Williams.
I've just always used standard primer from a car part's shop, which I assume is fine for metal, as I've never had a problem.
Plastic primer would be your problem, i.e normal halfords primer will be fine!
I basically:
Sand to f**k with whatever is necessary
Finish this with 800
Primer
If...
I'm quite suprised at what you're saying tbh Biffy, seeing that you've spent a fair wedge on the 1.2.
No offence Tom, but it's obvious you don't buy these car's with "driving" them being your priority. You like a car that looks good, you like the whole magazine scene and like a project, and...
