It's actually German, suits you Dave.
pichelet (German) Verb form of picheln
picheln
to tipple (to drink alcohol regularly, but not to excess)
Yeah. They've not even made the standard mode darker or anything which is a bit boring. 😑
Spooky mode is okay until there's too much shite on your screen. Having stuff jump out of boxes is fine because you're opening a box. Having a massive error screen flash up in a firefight is borderline...
Think it's just missing that bit of charm from L4D. The mutations/special ridden are ugly and pretty similar looking other than the shape of them instead of them being distinct characters.
The closest part I remember off the top of my head is wondering why your footsteps are all squeeky then...
Main things I've found:
- The card system is a great addition, adds a lot of replayability.
- The acts don't feel like they've got as much personality as L4D2, theres a lot of starting off in the same old town bit then moving out somewhere else which gets repetitive and just feels a bit lazy...
Definitely not blown me away as much as I'd hoped. Could be interesting if you can take out AI quietly, sneak in get the thing and run to extract...not sure if it'll be as sophisticated as that though 😅

With the amount of ways you can be spotted without even hacking and the pure sweats that are just too good at the game you can pretty much accuse everyone of dodginess. They should...
Forza is on PC too. There are a few Playstation exclusives coming to PC so you never know.
I've pre-ordered the 25th anniversary one to go with my special editions of the others (although this looks a lot less special...). I doubt I'll have a PS5 at the time but it comes with a code for the 4.
I think you'd be best getting in a squad and just asking the more experienced people what to do tbh. Just expect to be getting bollocked by the people that think it's real.
A little bit -
This is the main problem. Go in with your friends all excited, get picked off from nowhere, try to get back to them, repeat. I heard that they removed muzzle flashes a while back making it even harder to spot people. It is very atmospheric though, watching a mass artillery...
