Ive just rung O2 about an upgrade. Their tariffs are terrible compared to the Tesco Mobile one. They cant even match the price, even if I went onto a longer contract. Might just go with their 12 month deal and get rid of all this temptation.

Definitely try Admiral imo. They were quite 'mod-friendly' with my old 1.2.

Watch guides on youtube. I think I struggled a bit when doing mine. Long time ago so im not sure. I know I definitely watched a couple videos on youtube on how to do it.

As Neat says, it leaves a nice equal gap all round the plate, rather than totally filling the recess. Looks better that way imo.

I was thinking standard width and around 100mm tbh, as then it is pretty much (bar 1mm) on the legal limit and it is bigger than the front plate still. I wont be going any smaller than the front. Definitely needs to be bigger. Ill have to do some measuring up tbh. And thanks for your prior...

I friggin' hate it when you see the screws. Does my nut in. Clean and smooth ftw ;) EDIT: Spotted this in the other thread: So I can take 1cm off the height of the rear plate and still keeping it legal. Ill have to look into that.

Good point tbh. I was thinking of maybe doing the rear about 1cm smaller, but try to get one with the BS number etc on aswell. See what you mean though. Regardless, ill be getting another one sorted without the dealership name being all over it. The ones at my local place does them for about...

Fancyplates matey. Went for 95mm height, for reference. Kinda wished I had tried a slightly small width looking at that pic... Maybe 500mm, instead of 520mm (taking 1cm off each side).

Update: Smaller plate fitted. I went with 520 x 95mm (as opposed to standard of 520 x 111mm) 2/4/11 3/4 Plate Fitted by Harpham y0, on Flickr I think it works pretty well. Now, another question. I havent sorted the rear plate yet. Keep it standard sized, but get a plain one? Or have another...
