I need to find someone to replicate the green lip on my wheels on to a plain black one.... know anyone down in essex that does good paint jobs with wheels?
If you're around on Saturday morning mate, and I'm definately going you should pop down there!
That's where I found the second place I rang that quoted me the epic £140
May be worth the trip, I don't mind burning petrol as opposed to burning 20's... lol!!!
WTF!?
I'm assuming this place is just full of robbing gits then...
Can my lowered car be done on a normal system? Or does it have to be hunter?
Oh, and can I just be a pikey and mess about with it myself?
Just popped into kwik fit (my local one are alright blokes) on the way home, tracking was £40, came outside, saw the car was lowered and said they couldn't do it, as they're machine goes inbetween the wheel and the arch.....
Came home and just looked for prices of places that have that hunter...
You've seen my car.. If I'm honest it's like driving a go-kart with gears as it is, so I don't see what difference an even steering wheel is going to make other than enhance the experience ;)
vvvv See below vvvv
I'd never driven with aftermarket before, I went to pick this car up off of...
They look crap worn though, I like how mine feels now, but I don't like the feel of fresh suede or the look or un-fresh, so I think it rules it out for me.... lol! (I'm an awkward cnut I know)
For some reason I just imagine the leather to look more classy? lol
Standard one is huge and very...
I've got a standard one, Steve borrowed it for a bit though when he had a ph1 he was selling (in view of having it trimmed), I hope he's having a giraffe about selling me it, although it too is Donald Ducked. (I intended to get it refurbed but I've become attached to the aftermarket ones.).
Why...
I do hope you're joking Steve!? That's my bloody wheel in your garage!!! Cheeky sod :-P
I was going to go OEM, but after driving around with the aftermarket one and getting back in a normal Clio, the wheel felt pants!
Re: The 'TeamAriane' clio... Ghetto goodness.
You gave him a camel, didn't you...
LOL!
Keep the silver, until it gets mullered from track, then wrap it.
I'm sure Fred'll work his magic, I wish he was closer to me tbh!
Re: The 'TeamAriane' clio... Ghetto goodness.
I look forward to reading this, and your comment about titanium's shiney-ness is ever so true.
Sounds like it needs a fair bit of work, but I assume you got it for a fine price. ;)
Oh and ph2 rear end, good shout!!!
Suede does my head it, bloody stuff!!!
I think it's looking like it'll be the Trecento! Don't want to be paying for full leather though, replica suits me fine!
Ok, so at current I've got an OMP, suede, dished wheel, and I don't like how it is wearing away and I'm not overly keen on the dish....
I've narrowed it down to one of two wheels....
The OMP GP:
and
The OMP Trecento
The GP is a bit cheaper but nothing radical.
Now the differences:
The...
My passenger door can no longer be opened from the outside, unless it is first opened from the inside (to disarm the lock).
Danny (off here) and I ,took the doorcard off to have a look at the weekend, but got nowhere, everything seemed normal as far as we could tell?
Now I was going to get a...
Can you open it from the inside?
I can open my door from the inside (to unlock it) then I can use the door as normal, however when the door's are locked again, by the key, or the RAID system, the door needs to be opened from the inside again.
I took the door apart at the weekend with a member...
If they're that far in mate, go for it, it'll only bring the track out to a "good" width I suppose, plus they're not exactly bank breaking so if you're not happy you can always sell on :)
