They're supposed to have a split clip type thing mate, I don't know the actual name for the thing embarrassingly enough. They're metal and clip over the holes that are there and have a smaller hole so you can screw into that :)

They're not massively expensive and IMO really change how the car feels to drive, mine feels much more "chuckable" if you know what I mean? I'm going to phone up 'tweeks at 9 and get my CS discount on it :D

Have you changed the aerials that the tv's upstairs are plugged into? Often having a poor signal causes freeview to miss a lot of channels.
