    what do u think

It looks like a good start, but mk1's look so much better seriously low. For a simple improvement, try to get some wider wheels, will help a lot.

Ooops, it was slippery this morning on the roads....

Impressive, but he should seriously consider quitting whilst he's ahead (he hasn't killed anyone yet)

Concerning noise from front nearside area

Check the balljoint, but not the joint itself, the two bolts that join it to lower arm, mine managed to work loose, and caused a knock upon acceleration which eventually got worse. Oh and it's not just Daniel, I've never seen that under your SN before.

Awesome work. Looks like the interior could do with some loving though? Especially the carpet, or is that just the lighting?

    172 nice and quiet,lol.

Quiet is lovely, trust me, I've done 950 miles in a LOUD clio, and just got back from 715 miles in a pretty quiet one, is bloody lovely. Induction noise is way better than exhaust drone, and can be only upon demand! Oh and Rollo, classy ;)

    Rear bumper, crush boxes?

I don't know if the non sport ones fit, but they should as the bumpers are such a similar shape. If not I'm sure you could make them fit with a knife and some patience. If you don't fit them, the bumper is tres wobbly.

We'll probably have a gander around the cars at some point, have a drink, chat, whatever really. Meets like this are quite social and chilled out, other day time meets are a lot more about looking at the cars, going for a drive, whatever.

    New gear stick?

Glued indeed. When buying a new gear knob, make sure you get a lift up reverse compatiable knob and you'll be fine.

You know when wheel bearings are gone when....

Like a humming, Will. Which increases with speed. You can easily tell its not the exhaust by disengaging the clutch and seeing if its still there. Also, swerving from side to side a bit indicates which side is fecked.
