Theres 172 and 172 Cup. Thats it. You have a 172. FF is a term for the 182's because there were more options/versions.

Yup. Mk2 172's for under £4k now for a good one. Some dude sold a 182 for £4200. Not on the register, only neg point was it was on 60k. Prices are dropping like stones.
