Clio 182 Servicing Question

Hi there.

I own a clio 182 from new in APR 05 and was wondering if you can provide any help/guidance please?

In APR 06 it had 5500 miles on the clock = no requirement for service.
In APR 07 it had its 1st Renault service with 9500 miles.
In APR 08 it had 13000 miles on clock= no requirement for service.

I take it that in APR 09 it will need a service (2 year intervals or 12000 miles which ever is sooner) (prob have 18000 miles on the clock), but what about APR 10? (probably have 23000 miles on the clock)

Will it need a Aux and Cam belt replacement and full service in APR 10 as indicated in the maintenance booklet? It just seems like one hell of a full service for a car with 23000 miles on the clock?

Any thoughts?

cam belt 72k or 5 years
aux belt 36k or 3 years
best done earlier than these millages tho
renault will rip you off best to use a specialist, search on the forums

That is what my maintenance booklet says. Therefore it looks like a service in APR 09 (2nd service) and then a major service in APR10 with both Aux and Cam belt replacement.

I'd better get some bloody miles on th clock and start enjoying my car!!

I am in the Bristol area. Do you know any good specialist servicing outlets rather than Renault which I imagine will be a £800 job for a full service?

Cambelt is 5years isnt it? Aux is 3.

I used to think it was 3 years aswell for some reason.
