People on here just count the threads mate, make it even on both front, and both back. i.e 29 threads showing at the bottom of the front right, so have 29 theads showing at the bottom of the front left.

One of my sliders was stuck solid so the brake was not full releasing on one side, causing it to squeal at lower speeds. Easy to check, just take wheel off and check both sliders can retract fully.

Get the new one! You won't regret it! But if you're set on not, I'd get the "S" over the standard after seeing how much slower my friends is, I'd never used a non "S" and it was horrible after using mine for so long.
