Bumpage, any one know if you can turn the sensors off ? I know for sure that my alarm will keep going off at FCS:o and i'm not leaving in un locked. I had a quick look at the sensors last night, but they only have one black wire going to them.

It needed doing beck in 2007. Five years, or 72k (which ever comes first)

If it's really tight try to un-do it a touch by hand (obviously not a big turn, so that oil comes out) that ought to make it easier for when the oil is hot & you change it.

I'm not usually one for painted up badges etc, but that looks quite nice. I like the polished up stuff too.

I think the 307 splitter is great tbh, it look OE plus you could have three for the cost of an actual OE one.

^ does that work on mk2 phase 1 cars ? (a mk1 vee) My alarm always goes off with the slightest vibration, it's the ultra-sonics that are over-sensitive.

I'd just change the oil & filter tbh.

To the OP, imo your budget isn't enough. I think circa 4k will see you with a mint example.

A dude opposite my work has one & my bro's ex boss had one too. I really like them.

I think that the general lay out of the car has a major impact on how they designed it, imagine having all that body kit on a front engined car with your mates sat in the back, not a good look really. I saw a silver mk1 on tuesday - it still did it for me.

I'd say it depends on how bad they are ? Megs scratch x might get them out, if not it'll make them a bit better ?
