Mine also does this... Has a bit of a flat spot at around 2k revs aswell.

Just sorted my insurance out. Gone onto multicar with my dad this year. My insurance (with dad as named driver) = £1170 (rather than the £1550 on a single car policy) and my dad also saves about £50 aswell! Well happy with the price! Gives me a bit more money to play with! :D
