where did you get the disc from btw? would be nice to have updated roads, as im guessing the satnavs software is still 8 years old now

His Clio is awesome tbf! :hail: But can mine pull off black wheels if its not going to be lowered or anything? Im quite fancying just the standard silver tbh though, as the car is quite rare (because of the satnav) so I dont want it to look like its been owned by a "boy racer" due to subtle...

Interested read... Full postcode search would be useful tbh... I also wanted to know if updating (i.e. getting a new disc or whatever) would turn the display to a more 3d image (sort of like newer sat navs) rather than the plain lines that I have now?

My thoughts exactly... Want to try and keep the standard look aswell. Only other things ill be wanting to do to it is uprating the brakes (as the rear brakes will need doing soon anyway and the fronts have already been uprated) and put a stainless exhaust on if the standard one decides to break!

The centre caps will be going asap, along with the alloys (as one of them is buckled and they're 17's... dont fancy 17's lol), as I want to get hold of standard 172 alloys! And the plates annoy me too tbh ;) Alloys are my priority atm though! lol

Went from this: 1.2 16v 53 plate Clio... To this :D : 52 plate, Clio 172 on 43k with factory fitted sat nav :approve: BTW, ignore how the suspension looks, its just how cars sit on the top of my drive! Im in love.....

Thats one thing I have got to consider... Ive just got the car lol so im pretty broke atm! Needing some standard 172 wheels, as one of the wheels that are currently on (OZ F1 replicas), is buckled so im going back to standard! and the rear brake pads are getting ready, so im thinking of getting...

Do you think newer discs will update so that it is 3D maps? Rather than the coloured lines that it has now...

Got my Clio 172 on tuesday, with the factory fitted sat nav... Was just wondering, can you update it so that it has a more modern look to it (the maps are very basic and im guessing very outdated)? You cant even type in a postcode, you have to input the adress... I know it has a thing in the...

Done a temporary fix, until ive got some 172 alloys... Swapped the buckled one with one on the rear, so atleast it isnt drifting to the side anymore!

Picked up 17poo yesterday... Already have had to spend money on it lol :S Tracking done = £20 Finding out one of the alloys are buckled and therefore having to fork out for some more (when i can find some) = Priceless, atm...

Bought my 172 yesterday. On the way home I noticed that the car was drifting to the left and the steering wheel was shaking at high speeds (like 50+).. Went down to my local tyre place this morning, had the tracking done, and told them to balance the wheels... Found out one of the wheels is...

My most expensive month is this one... Pick up my new 172 today - £3500 Transfer insurance from the 1.2 - £220 extra So im pretty much broke from today onwards...... And then start of april, ive got insurance renewal, which will be about £1200 :S

My girlfriend is buying my car off me and we wanted to know the following as the car is a bit too low for her: The car is currently fitted with V-maxx coilovers. If we raise these, will the camber/caster need doing again? Or if we fit the standard suspension again, will the camber/caster need...

Yea thats the one... Me and my dad went to view it. I loved it, but my dad noticed that the cams were on their way out or something! And it had been lowered & had performance air filter on, so was put off by that!
