Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
Superb.
If I were rich Fred, mine would come to you and not leave til it was 'mazin...
Re: South East De-Dent Meet - Date TBC.
Yeah I'd come for the banter tbh, any dates are fine with me, I don't make plans, just do things on a week by week basis.
Re: South East De-Dent Meet - Date TBC.
How about if I provided a rattle can? Or I can provide a paint code before hand?
If you could ask him and its a yes, I'd definately be in.
I thought ABS at first, but its just one one side, and it just kinda "kicks" I suppose? Feels like its slipping a tooth or something? I have no idea though tbh.
It's because no one thinks they work ;)
Buy some 2118's, you'll figure out the car isn't low enough for them, then i'll refurb my f1's for ya, and we'll do a straight swap..... ;)
Don't think its the mani Darren, feels like something drive shaft/brake related, quite hard to explain, but very easy to show ya.
I'm gonna get a new engine mount and go from there tbh, I think it'll be proper shagged by the amount of shaking I'm getting pulling away now.
P.s, everyone seems...

Is he using halfords lacquer or some good 2k stuff? As the halfords/othershop stuff is so soft I think it'd be ruined very quickly.
Edit: I'll reserve judgement until he moves onto big pannels, i.e bonnet, roof.

Top mounts are solid compbrake items. (not put on by me) lol!
Need a new adjuster, easy to fit when you know how, gaffa tape can get you through your MOT.
Think they are the same from ALL mk2 clio's even the ph1's so can be had cheap from scrappy, but are rare to find on here.
Tunst:
It's a bit random, there is now a knocking as I pull off quite often, but that does sound like engine mount though, very much so, just feels like something is rocking.
Oh and the single knock when I brake "feels" different to the mount knocking when I pull off?
Mike:
I can't really...
Alpine is a good start tbh mate, very, very good units, pretty much up from £150 see's you with a nice one, its pretty much a case of picking the features you want and going for it, IMO.
Two techs said to me when I had the shaft done (I asked them to do this work, before checking anything as I was sure the shaft was the issue):
"There was still some knocking coming from the bay, and they checked the two mounts that were easy to see, (dog bone and mount to left of bay) but...
