yea definatly be severe.. just get the grinder in there and take the lot out. tak some plates in if need be. and then the old trusty fibreglass. lol i had an xr2i and under the petrol cap there was literally a hand sized hole . i used a coke can turned inside out, self tappered it, and ground...

get a piece of welding wire about 3 foot long, poke it thru under the screen so its inside the care... quickly pullin it backwards n forwards, youll soon enough heat it up n cut through it pretty fast. FM
