yea tis abit.. depends how much sikaflex the garage used. if its just a seam along the edge then screwed at the bottom or sides then it aint so bad.. but if theyve gone to town (like 99% of places do so they dont fall off), they are a right b**ch to get off without damaging paintwork.

cheers for the reply.
also ive heard of snap off boss kits? where yo can take the steerin wheel off.. can you use those with any steering wheels? again.. just aslong as its a renault clio fitting boss for momo wheel?

yea thats how theyll get em off, only way you can get bondn adhesive off is cutting it, youll melt the skirts before the bonding stuff becomes tacky to pull off.
i work ina bodyshop mate and only way i would get those off is with a small bendy stanley blade and with alot of care, then chop off...
with great care lol! small stanley blade down the back of em to cut the bonding adhesive, then you could try a toffee wheel on the actual bond thats left.. or trust someone with a small razorblade. little flat and mop out the surface scratches.
wont see em anyway its that low down

yes but will be hard finding someone to be willing to do it. tricky to do, plastic welding, fibreglass , filler etc etc. ide just sell em n buy some differnt ones myself mate.

would this fit the clio? or does the actual boss...
jus dont feel the urge to press your nail into it to test if its hard.. i know its tempting.. but it probably will leave a small mark. also if you press your finger down really hard onto it, it may leave a fingerprint in the laquer, very fine.
so just wash it like normal, but .. without poking...
myself yin ide wait a week or so, im sure someone will be sellin a much better model on here for the same price, second hand obviously. but dont really matter does it.

waxing is fine gee, paint dont fully go off until a few months.
in bodyshops when a car comes out of the spraybooth, its fit up, which takes a few hours usually, then nibbed, mopped and waxed.
trust me its fine.

cars are baked at 60ish and the ovens go upto 100 odd i think. i doubt a car would get that hot inside.. although they do get hot i agree.
its all about good prep though
normal paint is fine on hard plastics, even if it flexes a little. aslong as the prep is good, paint will stick to basically anythin and wont crack/flake, unless really forced
