Cheers all :) It was just halfords matt black VHT paint Danielson, can try find if you need it? Little tin, £4 or something, then used halfords own sanding sponge type thing and it polished the letters up a treat, properly happy :) Overall cost, less than a tenner, time taken 1.5 hours, done.
