Re: Insurance. Fookers! Performance Direct are local to me, i've always found them crap in the past. Their quotes are way over what anyone else wants, and they claim to be proper specialists. They may be a broker too, i'm not sure though. If it runs out soon, i'd leave them & get a quote...

Worse that that imo. For the money it must cost (unless they are in the trade etc) there are loads of better mods that can be done (or even putting the money towards the BMW they obviously want)

Yep, hammerite smooth, black. I cleaned up the calipers & gave them a few coats, then left them over night to dry. The next day I put the ap decals on the front, clear laquered over those, left the lacquer to dry for a bit, before putting the wheels back on. They've been done about 18 months...

Dawn - your right about getting the wheels off, they are bloody hard to get off ! Remember you use a bit of copper grease on the hub when re-fitting them too (it'll help reduce them being 'stuck on' next time) I always use the plank of wood and trolley jack route with axle stands too. -...

I'd not touch replica seats at all tbh. Evo 8 seats come up a fair bit on ebay, it's just a case of keep on looking.

You could get some oz f1's (as per the mk1 172) but they are only 15's though, they do them in 16's but they are quite rare.

Since when was a vee the bench mark for seeing how fast a car is ?? A vee isn't overly fast at all. I like it, but it's way too much money.

I pay £15 a month for the sim only one i'm on, it's just the standard o2 one. Much better than paying the £35 + a month that I was on contract.

Imo your better off going to a specialists. I had my plugs changed last year as I wanted them done, i can't remember how much they were though (I had loads of stuff done)
