I work on a building site mate, part of the management team, but I get on quite well with the welders on site.

Sounds good but a few questions... How much are silenced decat's? Are the more restrictive than a standard decat? So still arent as good as a full decat?

Well its not something missing etc, as it worked when I picked the car up, worked all the way home, stopping 3 times, got home, 160 miles later, that evening, it didnt work. lol!

Don't bother mate, the gap is only wee, you can easily bridge the gap with a well placed cable tie, holds them in place a treat ;).

I will be doing that very soon, but I just wanted an idea of what controls what first... The door locks but doesnt unlock, so I'm guessing something is just broken.... If I unlock the door from inside, the door unlocks from the outside from that point forward until I lock it again.

Anyone have any idea how the door locking system works on the mk2ph1?? My passenger door doesnt open with the central locking, or the key, so I'm guessing its the unit that is controlled by the locking/key.... So my question is, what is it that I need to replace? i.e what controls the actual...

Bloody lovely that is mate. What paint have you used on the plenum?? It's exactly as I want mine, but with sanded/polished writing.

Car looks really nice mate, gloss white wheels and it'll be lovely, exhaust is such a big improvement. As for the splitter, you could just get a 307 one, look very similar to cup one and are a lot cheaper.

Car looks brilliant, I really really love these, you've got a bit of a thing for taking chav and making it wonderful, almost like a service to the world. Like the black and red theme, simple, but don't go overboard
