I forgot about the wider rear quarter, sorry. The 172/182 rear bumper fitted a standard Clio and I’m sure mk4 are the same body, so my mistake. Gt bumper should fit though.
Good choice on the options. Definitely worth waiting for the spec you want, although RS monitor can be added to Rlink and also there is a place in Telford that can rework the exhaust. The guy is a complete wizard with these cars!
I love mine, just hate the colour, but I had to get what I could...
I can’t find a thread for mk4 200/220’s, so thought I’d start one!
Get some pictures up of your cars please and any info you want to give.
Be good to see what people have done to theirs etc.
Thank you for replying. I should be able to manage that. I’m in the 7 year bracket and sky are sorting out 8 and longer customers at the moment. I hope they bring back bookmarking of programs too!!
@David Stuart can the tv be mounted on the wall do you know?
I was toying with leaving sky for virgin as I have with my broadband, but this might just sway me to stay.
Thank you. I’m currently debating the front blade. I sprayed the silver side strips black, which look ‘ok’ from a distance but I’m happy with them. I think the blade would look good in black but maybe a little too much? It’s a fine line between murdered out and subtle.
Oh wow ok! That’s awesome, didn’t realise you got money for fully helping the development!
I know what you mean about the 6 and the o2 readings, it useful especially with covid about etc as one of the keys is if the o2 levels drop to a certain level.
I like sky tv, but I’ve just cancelled my broadband because it is horrendous and the customer service I received was terrible.
Itannoys me that they’ve brought this out, but we can’t even bookmark something to watch on skyQ! I can do it on a free view tv, and could do it with skyhd but not with q!
treated myself to the new mini iPad. Not overly blown away by it, but it’s leaps ahead of the last iPad mini and also not far away from the iPad Pro. Didn’t fancy a ‘grown up’ iPad hence going for the mini.
Thank you. Yes im going to look into stub spacers for the rear. bit gutted because normally lowering these cars brings the wheels out. Although they are a bit more out than before, but def needs some spacing,
Managed to fit some H&R springs which have transformed the look and drive massively. As has been said before, these should have left the factory with this ride height!
Hi. I paid £70 at Renault Tamworth as they were the only branch nearby that would actually acknowledge what I was on about. My local dealer wanted £150 to ‘look for faults’!!
congrats on the car, get a thread up with some pictures when you do. I’ve just lowered mine on H&R springs, such a...
Saw a Renault estefette van yesterday. Looked awesome and like a mini vw camper van.
Only a rubbish pic because I couldn’t get my phone out quick enough!
I fitted lowering springs to my 1.2 clio of the same era as yours and with the 172 alloys on handled really well. I would imagine you ‘could’ fit 172 shocks and springs without doing the whole widetrack fitment which might give the ride and height of a 172.
