Such satisfaction cleaning a semi protected car (I say semi because its not seen any real paint protection for well over a year!)
Also makes cleaning it twice a week easier and quicker.
Not seen my Meg since November, last clean was exactly 3 months ago.
Got it back last night and couldn’t bear it being so dirty so got up early this morning to wash it. Before starting work on the Clio.
Might sound daft but try another new bulb, I’ve known new bulbs to be dud out the box. If it’s still not working then you might have a wiring issue.
do all the other lights on the side work ok?
The DRL are your sidelights on these cars - they dim down when sidelights are turned on. As @PP200t says the bulbs are there but only for show!
change the rear tail light bulb and you should be good to go.
Which is the better of the 2?
The Eufy one is £97.99 on Amazon and the Blink is £79.98. Both come with a separate chime and will work with the Echo show.
Is the Eufy one with the extra £20?
Well, if it helps I’ve done 20k+ since I replaced my module and it’s been good as gold since. My car has done nearly 152k miles now and this has been the only real headache and that was because of how many red herring faults the battery voltage throws up and the fact that no one has really done...
Voltage drops on these cars can cause ALL SORTS of random faults that would throw you off on a wild goose chase. These were some I had… after months and month of being perplexed this turned out to be the gearbox control unit up the creek.
First off how old is your battery..? If it’s original change it.
If the problem persists after this then it’s quite possibly due a transmission control module.
Depends what kind of driving you do most really!
short trips around town you don’t want a diesel.
Long motorway journeys is where the little DCI’s excel.
I’ve owned both 1.4 16v and 1.5 dCi. Both brilliant cars when used properly.
