    Interesting find, looking through the booklets that came with the car tonight, I found the original leaflet for the sale of the car, and the colour is listed as being 'paddock green'.

    Yeah I do and will but money etc dictate otherwise. Only had the centre box chopped out as it was split and kept blowing weld repairs out!

    Found the problem, the sway bar for the alternator had lost the bolt that holds it to the block.

    Changed my oil and filter (all on my own, first time ever!!) and fitted a decat. Sounds good IMO.

    Found it!! The bolt that holds the alternator away bar to the block is missing!! Give yours a check (if you have one)

    Sorry Fred. It's the bolt that holds the 'steady bar' between the alternator bracket and the front of the block to the block.

    I hope so. I've been under it, around it, fixed 2 heatshield mounting points, but the middle section seems fine. Hope it's nothing serious!!
