Im going to get my alloys refurbed soon and just thinking of what colour would look good on my Cup??..i dont fancy the standard colour,but was thinking a gun metal grey?..ant pics of the cup with different colour Turinis alloys on please?

Yeah being i have a spare dogbone mount i might try get hold of the uprated bushes and fit them and fit that which should help and i see most people do that & just replace the upper mounts with renault ones

Ok cool i'll give it ago,cant find an upper engine mount on gsf or eurocarparts tho!.main dealer part?

Ive already fitted new dogbone mount and gearbox mount,just need new upper mount then & pull engine forward yep?.so slacken both top mounts and pull engine forward ie towards me yep?

Ive only done that to the upper mount side mate,but guessing i should undo bith to move it yep?

I have the same problem with my clio,ive changed gearbox & dogbone mount still have the knocking and i can see under the car the downpipe is close to the subframe,so going to change the top mount and fingers crossed!.also it might be worth getting uprated mounts?

Had another look over this morning and im pretty sure its the manifold/downpipe hitting the subframe as its really close to it and not the rest of the exhaust as to much clearance.but my centre mount is pretty fecked but not sure if that as the exhaust does not hang and its pretty tight on no...

Oh cool mate cheers,so tightening it up to feck should hold it in place?

Its ok ive done it!..but is it the simple case when refitting just to tighten it up and thats it??..does it not have anything to stop it undoing?

how did you getvon with undoing the hub nut mate?.im going to be doing mine today!

trying to undo my hub nut at the mo!.my sound stupid but to undo the nut do i have to knock out the 4 clips or whatever they are to undo it?.i have the car on the ground at the mo and just taken out the centre cap of the wheel.i have the socket & a breaker bar

Sounds like its coming from the centre tho & sometimes the bulk head.ive looked under the engine etc & theres loads of cleareance tho??

Such a nightmare!.it really sounds like the exhaust knocking but the exhaust is really stiff and there is no play it it,but maybe it could be the centre mount??

Yeah im thinking that now,as i can slightly move the engine back & forth!.easy job to do?

Could just be sonething simple like the exhaust?.as thats what it sounds like on mine.doing my head in to mate!

There is play in that side,but thats down to wheel bearing & it has new balljoint & track rod end.ive not checked the driveshafts.is it just the simple case if seeing if it moves,like any play in it?

Ive already replaced the gearbox & dogbone mount & its still the same!.so either mounts or exhaust ay or what about driveshaft?

What size is the nut?.as im changing the Hub

Or maybe fit the uprated dogbone maybe?,my engine wont go forward anymore tho i dont think as mount will cover the bolt holes if go anymore.

Yeah just took mine out & still knocking!.really sounds like the exhaust!.but all seems fine,need to put it up on a ramp really!.
