i have same problem mate,i changed dogbone & gearbox mount which did help a little but still knocking,did you sort the problem?

Yep exactly!.clutch is only like £100!.i do most stuff on my own cars,so you do you reckon you can do a clutch at home?.

yeah I had an idea on the price for the cambelt,never thought clutch would be that much tho!.so annoying tho as you can get clutch kit for like £120 and about the same for cambelt kit!.thing is the clutch is fine,i just need the release bearing changed and there only £10 haha!

An extra £20 for the aux belt!.worth more than the car haha! where is dan based plymcl172?

Just had a quote from Mark Fish to change the Cambelt £460+vat and then Clutch £500/600!!..so looking at about £900 or so to do both at the same time!.He said the cambelt is one of the hardest to do on a clio!.:S All Renault parts tho.

sounds like you have the same problem as me mate!.ive just changed the coil pack and still the same,also checked the plugs and the 4th one is same as yours all sooty!.You think it could be an injector or lamba sensor?
