You know I'm with you on the "you deserve the car" etc front. But, walking around Stockport/Stockport station on your own during winter? f**k that for a bunch of Aston keys.
If work won't allow you to park on site, are there no long stay car parks/alternatives around? Yes Audi might be arses...
I recognise it, Chris. Sadly not. I dabbled in semi-Pro for a few years in the same way that Russ@MCC started off, i.e. all the gear and the right idea/insured/weekends. Full time role and moving to London kicked that into touch :dapprove:
Nothing to add to the above, apart from perhaps suggesting looking at protecting it afterwards to minimise the number of times you need to clean it in your ownership...
I'd still stay away from DA sanding. You're not after a quick fix like a dealer and I for one see a massive difference in feeling out scratches/paint repairs by hand.
I disagree. Most of my friends/family/etc bought fast Audis because of the option of 4x4 in a saloon/estate/hatchback, rather than a RangeRooney. Cheshire gets snow, we're the only ones that move about, unless you count the Cheshire mum's brigade (X5s, Cayennes etc).

I have;
Zymol Carbon jar is approx 60ml, and the Glasur is a 50ml pot. PM me if interested.
Hadn't realised you were head of the department. Feel less guilty about owing you a beer now.
Nice car, thinking about one as my next purchase, so keep it a while will you?
f**k, replying to your post has just reminded me about my No16 Megs Last Touch offer :( completely forgot mate. Apologies. I do have some left, I will be up North over Xmas in Alderley Edge so would have the time for a meet and greet with the detailing lot?
Not teaching you to suck eggs, but this is the same for all "hydro-phobic" products (waxes, sealants, metal sealants, glass sealants, etc). It's simply the dirt particals providing a rough/high friction surface, meaning water will not bead as well. My G1 has lasted over 18 months, but seems to...
Not sure if this should really have a new thread, but meh. Vodafone/O2 etc users will be pleased we finally have news (not to mention the affect on the UK economy of £1.3bn...);
